Solan is the district headquarters of Solan district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The largest Municipal Council of Himachal Pradesh, it is located 46 kilometres south of the state capital, Shimla. At an average elevation of 1,600 metres. The place is named after the Hindu goddess Shoolini Devi. In the foothills of the Outer Himalayas, lies Solan- a charming hill town surrounded by Deodar forests and scenic mountains on all four sides. Solan falls on the UNESCO heritage Kalka-Shimla Railway.   • Jatoli Temple

    Considered as Asia's highest Shiv temple, this shrine is indeed an architectural marvel. Jatoli Shiv Temple is one of the famous holy destinations of Solan which attract a large number of pilgrims and is only 6 Kms from the city. This temple is wonderful piece of architectural beauty and the Asia's highest temple of lord Shiva

  • Bon Monastery

    Bon monastery in Solan is the second oldest Bon monastery in the world. The monastery is highly revered by the people of the Bon community. The Bon community is even older than the Buddhist community though the principles are the same. Perched on a hill top, the Bon monastery offers picturesque views of the town and snow-capped mountains.

  • Heritage Park

    It is a vast heritage park in the district of Solan and is located on NH-22 that connects Shimla & Kalka. This park is very vast as it accommodates various sculptures, some temples, replicas of the famous tourist sites in Solan, and much more. This is a must place to visit. The architecture and design of the temple will leave you stunned.

  • Karol trekking

    Karol Tibba located at an altitude of 2240 metres is highest peak of Solan region. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali at Karol Peak. Along the trek, we also visit famous Pandva Gufa/cave, which is the oldest and longest cave in Himalayas. Cave starts here and ends in Parwanoo.
