Day 02: Local Leh SightseeingToday after breakfast around (10:00 A.M) we will leave for a easy , half day sightseeing tour with local guide including, a visit to the Thiksey Monastery, stok palace and village. We will be back to Leh by late afternoon and in the evening visit Shanti Stupa and Leh fort, rest of the time free to walk around the local market of Leh. Second night in same hotel in Leh.
Day 03: Leh to Pangong Lake and back to Leh. ( 14 hrs)On the third day, visit the renowned Pangong Lak. Being the largest lake in the Himalayas, Pangong Lake is situated at a height of about 4,350 metres (14,300 ft), and about 134 km long and extends from India to China (Chinese occupied Tibet) 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km wide at its broadest point. Spend your night at the Spangmik village in the fixed tented accommodation in a seasonal camp. Enjoy witnessing spectacular views of the mountains of the Chang chemo range to the North, their reflections shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake's brackish waters. Post lunch, you’ll be driven back to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 04: Leh to Khardungla and back to Leh ( 4-5 hrs)Drive to Khardung La Pass (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 feet), where you can enjoy a cup of tea/Coffee/ noodles in the world’s highest cafeteria. In evening, drive back to Leh and explore the local market to shop some of the well-known local specialties.
